Coaches & Officials Development

Qualified coaches are the foundation for successful introduction of children to sports, quality sport programming and athlete development. Trained Race Officials help facilitate a fair field of play for athletes of all levels, from grassroots to World Cup level. Whistler Sport Legacies is committed to supporting coaches and officials of all levels and sports with development and education opportunities, certification courses and tools to continue the pursuit of coaching excellence and officials duties in the Sea to Sky Corridor. Courses include for example NCCP Coaching Courses, Community Coaching Workshops, Physical Literacy/Sport for Life Professional Development Summits and Officials Certification.

For information on the coach education pathway for individual sports, interested individuals can also check the Coaching Association of Canada's info pages.
