The Whistler Nordic Development Centre (WNDC) offers dedicated athletes the opportunity to train in a world-class environment at the Olympic venues in Whistler. With expert coaching, individualized support, and a strong team culture, WNDC helps athletes progress along the high-performance pathway toward national team and international success.
Athletes are expected to live in the Sea to Sky Corridor to fully engage in training and team activities.
For the 2026–27 season, WNDC offers five biathlon program options designed to support different stages of athlete development and commitment.

Athlete Applications
We want you! Are you an athlete interested in joining the Whistler Nordic Development Centre?
Five different WNDC biathlon program options are available:
- General Prep (May - August) & Specific Prep (Sept - Early November)
- International Race Program: For athletes qualified to race internationally who will spend most of the winter on Tour in Europe (IBU Cup & World Cup Team)
- Development Race Program: For athletes in development looking to perform nationally and get exposed to international level (Junior Cups and Junior World Championships)
- International experience: For foreign athletes willing to experience High Performance Training and/or Racing in Canada
- Next Gen: Young local athletes (U18) interested in joining WNDC in the upcoming 2 years and looking for HP training environment exposure.
