Daily Update

With the final weeks of summer upon us, here’s the latest update from Whistler Olympic Park!

Hours & Activities
Park Access: Daily until September 28, 8:00am – 8:00pm (free entry)

  • Day Lodge Café: 10:30am – 7:00pm. Last opening day is Sunday,  September 1. Come enjoy delicious local food and cold drinks on the patio!
  • Summer Biathlon: 10:00am – 4:20pm. Last opening day is Sunday,  September 1. A very popular experience – we recommend booking in advance. BOOK HERE
  • Friendly Visitor Info Desk: 8:00am – 7:00pm. Get maps, info and all the rest.
  • Retail & Amazing Gift Shop: 8:00am – 7:00pm. Sale starting early September.
  • Free Activities: Disc golf, hiking, biking , and pickleball. Paddles, and discs available at Guest Services for a small fee.
  • Disc Golf Course Closure: September 5,6,7 until 1pm due to a Biathlon Canada Training Camp.

GranFondo Callaghan Valley Road Closure 
On the morning of Saturday, September 6, the Callaghan Valley Road will be closed for the GranFondo cycling event.

  • Closure: Approximately 9:15am – 12:15pm
  • Impact: No vehicle access in or out of the park during this time
  • Accommodation: To support campers, check-out time has been extended to 12:15pm

Winter Key Dates
Winter Opening: Scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2025, with bonus weekends starting November 8 on Callaghan Gold – check our conditions page for updates.

  • Early Bird Pass Sale & Program Registration: Opens September 3, 2025 (all details available on our website)

🏕️🔥 A full campfire ban is in effect, prohibiting all campfires. This ban applies to all levels of fire danger rating and will remain in place until October 31, 2025. While campfires are prohibited, propane fire pits and propane or gas barbecues are permitted.  Please enjoy your campfires responsibly. Visit BC Wildfires for more information.
